30 Days Of Night is based on the Steve Niles comic book mini-series of the same name. Generally this is a good thing, as long as the filmmakers stick closely to the story found in the comic (please take note Joel Schumacher).
In Barrow, a sleepy and secluded Alaskan town, the sun sets and doesn’t rise for thirty consecutive days and nights. From the darkness will come an evil that will bring the residents to their knees – the only hope rests with the married Sheriff and Deputy, who are torn between their own survival and saving the town they love.
