Those of you lucky enough to own an HD-DVD player probably don’t care that the format is dead, as most retailers have been selling off their stock at crazily low prices – which means that you can get high definition goodness for less than the cost of a magazine.
300 joins the ranks of the Transformers: Special Edition HD-DVD, by being both cheap and excellent. Although it doesn’t look brilliant in HD (the director intentionally made the picture grainy), you’d be hard pushed to get this for as low a price on standard DVD.
