It’s not often that a re-imagined series turns out to be better than the original, but in the case of Battlestar Galactica this is true. The last surviving members from the Twelve Colonies Of Kobol are led in a ragtag fleet of ships with the Battlestar Galactica as its command ship – all the while trying to avoid the Cylons whilst looking for the fabled thirteenth colony: Earth.
Battlestar Galactica: Season One contains the first 13 episodes from the series, plus some deleted scenes. You may, however, prefer to get the HD-DVD release of Battlestar Galactica: Season One as it also includes the mini-series that came before this season begins.
