Death Sentence (Blu-Ray) £7.83
Death Sentence is a film very loosely based on the Brian Garfield novel of the same name. Kevin Bacon stars as Nick Hume, a man who turns into a vengeful vigilante killer after his son is murdered by a gang as part of an initiation ritual.
It’s an OK film but if you’re expecting it to be anything like the book, I’ve got bad news for you – it’s almost completely different. The novel is a sequel to Death Wish, and for some bizarre reason this film seems like a remake of the film version of that book!
