Westerns are an interesting film subject, but one genre that I’ve never personally been a big fan of. I can, however, appreciate the greatness of Once Upon A Time In The West – it’s easily one of the best westerns ever made.
Even though you might get a bot put off by the lengthy opening titles, stick with it and you will be entertained from beginning until end. With fantastic performances from Henry Fonda, Charles Bronson and Jason Robards (not forgetting the brilliant score by Ennio Morriconne and equally excellent directing by Sergio Leone) this is one film you should definitely get a hold of.
Instore at Asda you can get the Once Upon A Time In The West: Special Collector’s Edition DVD for only £4 – well worth it, as you get a ton of bonus material thrown in (including a commentary and numerous documentaries).
