In a bit of good news, the first three episodes of Rome are unedited in the DVD releases of the historical drama series - when the BBC aired them in 2005, they decided to re-edit them into two episodes (for reasons only known to the idiots that thought it was a good idea). The swearing that was removed is also included, which is nice for those of you who get upset at not hearing the odd curse word.

Inside the Rome: The Complete Collection boxset you’ll find every episode from the two seasons that were produced, along with hours of special features.

Louis Malle: Volume Two £13.99

Louis Malle was a sometimes controversial French director, noted for making films which tackled taboo subjects like suicide, incest, and Nazism. He sadly passed away in 1995, aged only 63.

Inside the Louis Malle: Volume Two boxset you’ll find five of his best works (all of which are in French, with English subtitles). These are Black Moon, Milous En Mai, Lacombe Lucien, Le Souffle Au Coeur, and Au Revoir Les Enfants.

The Hairy Bikers Cookbook: Series One And Two £3.99

The Hairy Bikers Cookbook is a BBC cookery and travel programme that sees two fat blokes travel around the world on their motorbikes tasting the local cuisine and talking about the culture and history of the area that they are visiting.

The Hairy Bikers Cookbook: Series One And Two is a double disc set that contains the first 12 episodes from the show, although sadly the pilot isn’t included for some reason.

It’s A Wonderful Life £3.99

It’s A Wonderful Life is rightly regarded as a Christmas classic the world over, although it’s interesting to note that due to its high production costs and competition at the box office, financially, it was considered a "flop".

The film takes place shortly after World War II and stars James Stewart as George Bailey, a man whose imminent suicide on Christmas Eve gains the attention of his guardian angel, Clarence Odbody, who is sent to help him in his hour of need.

Angel: The Complete Collection £47.93

Spin-off shows often either end up being cancelled as they’re crap (see Joey for a good example), or running out of steam (see Mork & Mindy). Angel bucked the trend though, by being both more entertaining and sometimes even getting better ratings than Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

Inside the Angel: The Complete Collection boxset you’ll find all 110 episodes that were made. Strange that it lasted five seasons, as I was of the mistaken belief that it was much longer than that.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer: The Complete Collection £48.91

It’s probably getting a bit boring coming to this site and seeing Buffy The Vampire Slayer: The Complete Collection every week - and for that I apologise. But the price keeps getting lower, so it’s worth me keeping on mentioning it!

This massive 39 disc boxset has every episode ever made of the US action/comedy/drama/horror series, along with a rather pitiful amount of bonus material.

RoboCop Trilogy £5.99

You may have seen the first RoboCop film many times, but you probably haven’t seen the extended Director’s Cut. It’s a much more gore-laden version, with some extremely graphic and brutal violence - definitely not something kids, or anyone remotely sensitive, should be watching.

It can be found in the RoboCop Trilogy boxset, along with the standard version which is often aired on television (although I wish the infamous ITV edit had been included!). This also has the two inferior sequels, RoboCop 2 and RoboCop 3, and quite a few special features on the making of the first film.

Alien And Predator: Total Destruction Collection £12.99

It’s obvious to anyone with eyes that the two Alien Vs Predator films have been woeful when compared to the other movies in each respective franchise. The acting and dialogue in both are terrible, and the sheer amount of gore in Alien Vs Predator: Requiem is enough to make Freddy Krueger blush.

The Alien And Predator: Total Destruction Collection is a nine disc set which contains every film starring our two favourite, but horrific, mutant beasties - Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, Alien: Resurrection, Predator, Predator 2, Alien Vs Predator, and Alien Vs Predator: Requiem.

Die Hard Quadrilogy £9.99

Due to the success of Die Hard 4.0 (or Live Free Or Die Hard, as it’s known in the U.S.), rumours abound that a fifth film may be in the works. If it does get made, here’s hoping that we’ll see some old faces return - personally, I’d like to see John McClane’s wife become a villain.

The Die Hard Quadrilogy boxset contains single disc versions of Die Hard, Die Hard 2: Die Harder, Die Hard With A Vengeance, and the aforementioned Die Hard 4.0.
