Benidorm: The Collection £17.85

Benidorm is an award-winning ITV comedy-drama series which exploits the working-class stereotype of the popular tourist destination of the same name. Whilst the fact that it's written by someone behind The Catherine Tate Show may put off many, this is actually not too bad (at least, not as awful as Tate).

Inside the Benidorm: The Collection boxset you'll find all 21 episodes that have been produced so far, including the 2009 special. There are also tons of extra features to be found as well, such as audio commentaries on selected installments and a far few deleted scenes and featurettes.

Rocky: The Undisputed Collection (Blu-Ray) £35.48

Whilst those of us who have Sky+ HD have been able to see all of the Rocky films in glorious high definition, others haven't – until now, that is. Incidentally, people are quick to criticise Rocky V for being a waste of time, but at least it gave us a brilliant character in the shape of George Washington Duke!

Rocky: The Undisputed Collection, on Blu-Ray, contains all six films in the boxing series. Sadly only the original comes with any extra features (of which there are many), which feels like a massively missed opportunity.

Casino Royale (Blu-Ray) £4.98

Daniel Craig came in for a huge amount of stick when it was announced that he was taking over the role of James Bond. He completely silenced the critics though, with one of the best 007 performances of all time in Casino Royale – something which pretty much nobody expected.

The film looks and sounds absolutely fantastic in high definition, plus you get all of the extras from the standard DVD version. These include three featurettes on the making of the movie, the "Bond Girls Are Forever" documentary and a music video.

Hellboy and Hellboy II: The Golden Army Steelbook Boxset £6.99

A demon fighting for the U.S. Government against dark forces like the Nazis might seem a little far-fetched, but keep in mind that the Hellboy films are based on a comic book series. Popular they are as well, as a third movie will more than likely appear as soon as Guillermo del Toro can find the time!

The Hellboy and Hellboy II: The Golden Army Steelbook Boxset does exactly what it says on the tin, by including both films in one handy box. Each are double disc releases that come packed with extra features (audio commentaries, documentaries, featurettes, deleted scenes, etc).

The Mummy: Ultimate Luxury Boxset £8.49

Originally intended to be part of a low-budget horror franchise, The Mummy was instead eventually turned into a blockbuster action film – which in turn spawned two prequels and two sequels as well as an animated series. It also helped rejuvenate the career of Brendan Fraser, turning him from a comedy character actor to something approaching an action-packed leading man.

Inside The Mummy: Ultimate Luxury Boxset you'll find double disc copies of The Mummy, The Mummy Returns and The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor. Also included is a book on the making of the movies and a board game.

The Vicar of Dibley: The Complete Collection £11.93

While it's not the funniest programme to take the mickey out of the church somewhat (that title goes to Father Ted), The Vicar of Dibley was still one of the best comedy series' Dawn French ever appeared in – including the often awful French and Saunders.

Anyway, inside The Vicar of Dibley: The Complete Collection boxset you'll find five discs which contain nearly every episode produced. I say nearly, as the final two Christmas specials aren't included (a newer set is out now, but at a higher price than this one).

Harry Potter: Years One to Six £22.99

Harry Potter might sound like the name of a bank manager or something, but in reality it's the adventures of a boy wizard that have completely transfixed the world over the last few years – first with the books, and more recently with a set of excellent films to accompany them.

The Harry Potter: Years One to Six boxset contains all of the movies that have been made up to this point, including Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I've not been able to confirm whether any extra features can be found, but I'll hazard a guess that the answer is there aren't any.

The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season £6.99

Everybody should have heard of animated comedy show The Simpsons by now, so there's no real point in informing you about what it's about. What I will say is that it definitely used to be a lot better than it is now.

Thankfully, The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season contains at least a handful of decent episodes. "Bart Gets An F", "Dancin' Homer", the first "Treehouse Of Horror", and "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?" are just highlights from the 22 total installments. There's also a few extra features, including audio commentaries and even the "Deep, Deep Trouble" music video.

The Damned United (Blu-Ray) £5.98

After putting in excellent performances as Tony Blair in The Queen and David Frost in Frost/Nixon, Michael Sheen completes the hat-trick of big-screen portrayals of famous people with Brian Clough in The Damned United – which manages to artfully craft a compelling story whilst featuring enough football to keep even those with short attention spans interested.

Looking and sounding great in high definition, it's also nice to see that this comes with all of the bonus material from the standard DVD. An audio commentary with Sheen and the director and producer is quite good, but the decent stuff can be found in the featurettes on the real man himself.

Survivors: Series One to Three £17.99

Survivors is a British series that follows the plight of a group of people who have survived an accidentally released plague that kills nearly the entire population of the planet. It was recently remade (rather well, I might add) by the BBC.

Inside the Survivors: Series One to Three boxset you'll find all 38 episodes, along with audio commentaries on selected installments and a documentary on the making of the third year. There's also a range of interviews with various members of the cast and crew.
