Red Road is a British film which tells the story of a CCTV operator who observes through her monitors a man from her past. It is named after, and partly set at, the Red Road flats in Glasgow which were the tallest residential buildings in Europe at the time they were built.

The picture and sound quality on this high definition release is top drawer, as you'd expect, though the extra features only amount to some raw footage and a collection of cast and crew interviews.

Appearing on DVD in volume form, sadly none contain any extra features at all – definitely something of a missed opportunity and a bit of a let-down for long-term fans of the iconic characters.

Shrek 2: Special Edition £3


Sequels are always very hard to get right – if it's too similar to the original people will complain, but if it's completely different then nobody will watch it! Thankfully Shrek 2 manages to be very good indeed, and is considered by many to be the best film in the series thus far.
