The Smell Of Reeves & Mortimer was a BBC sketch show written by and starring Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer, and is regarded by many as their best TV work thus far.

Inside The Smell Of Reeves & Mortimer: The Complete Collection you’ll find every episode from the two series’ that were made. The only criticism I have is that the first series only has the originally aired episodes, whilst the VHS (remember that?) release had extended ones.

Casino Royale: Collector’s Edition £4.99

I’m reliably informed that Daniel Craig’s latest outing as James Bond, Quantum Of Solace, is nowhere near as good as Casino Royale is. That’s a pity, as hopes were high that Craig would be a bankable Bond in the foreseeable future - obviously not.

The Casino Royale: Collector’s Edition DVD is a double disc set that comes with a music video and three featurettes on the making of the film. Also included is the "Bond Girls Are Forever" documentary that was shown on ITV a while back.

The Matrix Trilogy (Blu-Ray) £26.99

The Matrix is an excellent science fiction adventure film which portrays a future in which reality, as perceived by humans, is actually a simulated reality created by sentient machines in order to pacify and subdue the human population, while their bodies’ heat and electrical activity are used as an energy source.

Whilst not as good as the original, The Matrix Reloaded has its moments. Sadly the final part, titled The Matrix Revolutions, is a bit of a stinker - far too anti-climatic and self-indulgent for my liking.

That said, all three have never looked better than in The Matrix Trilogy, on Blu-Ray, which you can buy for £26.99 from CD-WOW by clicking here.

Fearless: Director’s Cut £9.98

Fearless is a Chinese martial arts film that’s loosely based on the life of Huo Yuanjia, a legendary martial artist who challenged foreign fighters in highly publicised events, restoring pride and nationalism to China at a time when Western Imperialism and Japanese manipulation were eroding the country.

The Fearless: Director’s Cut DVD is a Region 1 release, so please make sure that you can play these kind of discs before buying. On it you’ll find three different versions of the movie - Theatrical, Unrated, and an extended Director’s Cut that runs for about 140 minutes.

It’s A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie £2.99

In terms of Muppet films, It’s A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie isn’t quite as good as their other holiday attempt, A Muppet Christmas Carol, but kids while still love it - I mean, who can possibly resist Kermit The Frog when you’re three?!?

The DVD is very much a bare-bones release, with just a small selection of deleted scenes on offer. When you consider the amount of talent in the film (Whoopi Goldberg and William H. Macy being just two of the stars), this is a little disappointing.

Twin Peaks: The First Season - Special Edition £11.89

Twin Peaks follows the investigation, headed by Special Agent Dale Cooper, into the brutal murder of a popular and respected homecoming queen, Laura Palmer. The show is perhaps best remembered for its wide variety of quirky and bizarre characters, which include a Giant and a cross-dressing DEA agent.

The Twin Peaks: The First Season - Special Edition boxset contains the first eight episodes (including the feature-length pilot) and some extra features. These amount to a batch of deleted scenes, some short featurettes, and an extensive documentary about the making of the programme.

Without A Trace: Seasons Two And Three £9.98 Each

Sometimes US shows do very well in these shores (The Simpsons and Desperate Housewives are two that come to mind), but there are usually a few that don’t do so well, like Without A Trace.

It’s about the dealings of a fictitious FBI missing persons unit based in New York City, and each episode normally follows the search for one individual under a tight time-pressure.

The Incredible Hulk: Special Edition Steelbook £7.99

The first live-action big-screen version of The Incredible Hulk (titled Hulk) was a bit of a letdown, but the 2008 incarnation (titled The Incredible Hulk) is much improved. A new back-story is established, where Bruce Banner became the Hulk as an unwitting pawn in a military scheme to create supersoldiers - on the run, he tries to cure himself before being captured, but his worst fears are realised when a power-hungry soldier becomes the Abomination.

The Incredible Hulk: Special Edition Steelbook comes with a load of interesting bonus material, which includes a feature-length audio commentary and deleted scenes (one of which is an alternate opening which apparently has Captain America somewhere).
