Knight Rider (2008): Season One £9.99

The Knight Rider (2008): Season One boxset contains a total of four cheap DVDs

Knight Rider (2008) was an attempt at continuing the story from the original 1982 series, which ultimately proved unsuccessful as it was cancelled after 17 episodes. Whilst it was OK, the lack of Hoff action proved to be the show's downfall…probably.

Inside the Knight Rider (2008): Season One boxset you'll find all of these installments, plus the feature-length TV movie pilot. Also included are an audio commentary on the pilot, three featurettes on the making of the programme, and a gag reel.

Magicians, Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead Triple Pack £8.99

Magicians, Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead Triple Pack

British films, especially comedies, have come on in leaps and bounds over the last few years – gone are the days where tripe like Fat Slags is considered even remotely amusing (hopefully!). Ricky Gervais had a pop about 1950 being the last time a decent movie was made in this country, but he's completely mistaken.

The Magicians, Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead triple pack contains three excellent films that show how wrong he is. Of the three Magicians is the weakest, although it definitely has its funny moments as well.

The Transporter Trilogy Steelbook £9.99

The Transporter Trilogy Steelbook

When you think of big action films, I doubt that France would be a country you would associate with producing them – that is until you consider the fact that all three films in The Transporter series are in fact from the land of garlic and Eric Cantona (even though there is enough English dialogue to disguise this somewhat).

The Transporter Trilogy Steelbook boxset contains The Transporter, The Transporter 2, and The Transporter 3, surprisingly enough. Also included are a whole range of extra features, from audio commentaries to deleted scenes.

Northern Exposure: Season Two £3.91

Northern Exposure: Season Two

Northern Exposure is a comedy-drama series which, for one reason or another, never really caught on over here. I'm not entirely sure why this is to be honest, as Due South was fairly similar and yet it was incredibly popular – probably the Leslie Nielsen effect!

Anyway, inside the Northern Exposure: Season Two boxset you'll find the seven episodes which make up a short second year. Also included are a "behind the scenes" featurette and a handful of deleted scenes.

Select Cheaper are selling this for £3.91 – click here for more details.

Star Trek: Original Motion Picture Collection (Blu-Ray) £47.99

Another Star Trek film would not exactly sound exciting to many movie-goers, however with JJ Abrams (he of the creation of Lost and Cloverfield fame) at the helm it does – hence the massive success of the recent prequel that's wowed audiences around the world.

The Star Trek: Original Motion Picture Collection Blu-Ray boxset contains the first six films starring the original cast of the TV series. Each look and sound fantastic in high definition, and you also get hours and hours of bonus material to boot.

Dollhouse: Complete Season One £9.99

Dollhouse: Complete Season One

Joss Whedon is probably still best known as the creator of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer television series, but he's also gone on to do more stuff which has been criminally overlooked both by critics and viewers – first off there was Firefly, and at the moment we have Dollhouse.

Inside the Dollhouse: Complete Season One boxset you'll find all 13 episodes from the first year, including an installment which wasn't aired. Also to be found are audio commentaries on three episodes, the un-aired pilot, five featurettes on the making of the show, and a total of 23 deleted scenes.

Play.com have this available for £9.99 – for more information, click here.

The Tudors: The Complete Seasons One to Three £9.99

The Tudors: The Complete Seasons One to Three

The Tudors is, at times, about historically accurate as Braveheart, but this doesn't mean to say that it's a bad programme – far from it in fact, as it features one of the best portayals of Henry VIII that has ever been seen (unless of course you knew the man himself!).

Inside The Tudors: The Complete Seasons One to Three boxset you'll find the full 28 episodes that have been released on DVD thus far. Also included are a wide range of special features, such as audio commentaries on selected installments and a fair few featurettes that look at the making of the show.

Monsters vs. Aliens £4.99

Monsters vs. Aliens

With an impressive voice cast including Reese Witherspoon and Seth Rogan, you know that Monsters vs. Aliens is going to be at least half decent – which is more than true, as this animated film has proven very popular at the box office (and with kids, I'd assume).

The DVD of the film comes with quite a few extra features as well, which is nice. These include an audio commentary with the filmmakers, a documentary looking at the making of the movie, some deleted scenes, and other short bits and pieces.

If you fancy this, click here to buy it for £4.99 from Play.com.
