Pandorum (Blu-Ray) £7.83

Pandorum (Blu-Ray)

Pandorum is a science fiction horror film that sees two astronauts wake up from suspended animation to find themselves alone, with no memory of who they are, what they are doing, or what has happened to the crew of their 60,000 passenger sleeper ship…

This high definition release of the film looks and sounds fantastic, plus it comes with all of the extras from the standard DVD version. These include a feature-length audio commentary, three "making of" featurettes and a total of 15 deleted and extended scenes.

Amazon are selling Pandorum, on Blu-Ray, for £7.83 – click here for more details.

House: Seasons One to Five Collection £44.97

House: Seasons One to Five Collection

While older viewers might still associate Hugh Laurie with such iconic comedy stuff as Blackadder, younger audiences have become more accustomed to him appearing in straight roles – medical drama House being probably the best work he's done in quite some time.

The House: Seasons One to Five Collection boxset contains the first 110 episodes of the U.S. series, along with far too many extra features to list here. Suffice to say, they include a number of audio commentaries, featurettes on the making of the show and some other bits and pieces.

Mel Gibson DVD Collection £9.99

Mel Gibson DVD Collection

Putting his well-known personal problems to one side, it's worth remembering that Mel Gibson has taken more risks than most actors would – who else can claim basically inventing the buddy-cop genre all the way through to bringing the story of Jesus' death and resurrection in graphic detail to the big screen?

Inside the Mel Gibson DVD Collection you'll find seven of his very best movies. Mad Max, Lethal Weapon, Tequila Sunrise, Forever Young, Maverick, Conspiracy Theory and Payback are all each great in their own right (though the original Mad Max and Lethal Weapon are definite highlights).

The Three Colours Trilogy £9.99

The Three Colours Trilogy

The Three Colours Trilogy is the collective title for three films made by Polish director Krzysztof Kie?lowski – Three Colours: Blue, Three Colours: White and Three Colours: Red. Each are the colours of the French national flag from left to right, and are loosely based on the political ideals in the motto of the French Republic.

Inside this set you'll find all three movies, along with some very interesting special features. These include "making of" featurettes, masterclasses with the director, cast and crew interviews and a bonus disc containing the "I'm So So" documentary.

Species Collection £7.97

Species Collection

Whilst the original science fiction horror film Species was a mildly passable story about a group of scientists who try to track down and trap a killer alien succubus before she successfully mates with a human male, it's quite difficult to see how they managed to create three further sequels.

Inside the Species Collection boxset you'll find Species, Species II, Species III and Species IV: The Awakening. Surprisingly, the second and third movies have a fair few extra features – each has an audio commentary, deleted scenes and "making of" featurettes.

If you fancy this, click here to buy it for £7.97 from Amazon.

Homicide: Life on the Street – The Complete Second Series £4.99

Homicide: Life on the Street - The Complete Second Series

Although this is labelled as Homicide: Life on the Street – The Complete Second Series, it's worth pointing out that this contains all 20 episodes from the THIRD season. Publishers Freemantle failed to mention that Homicide: Life on the Street – The Complete First Series is actually the first two seasons (no idea how and or why this happened).

Anyway, the U.S. police drama is still very good to this day – even though it first appeared in 1993. The fact that it's based on a book by the guy behind The Wire should really tell you all you need to know…

Play.com are selling this set for £4.99 – click here for more details.

The Christopher Reeve Superman Collection £8.99

The Christopher Reeve Superman Collection

Although most commonly remembered as the first Superman to grace the big screen, Christopher Reeve also holds the distinction of being someone who turned down many roles which went on to become huge – with Lethal Weapon and Pretty Woman being chief amongst them.

Anyway, inside The Christopher Reeve Superman Collection you'll find the four disc Superman: The Movie – Special Edition, Superman II three disc Special Edition and Superman III and Superman IV: The Quest for Peace Deluxe Editions. As you can imagine, these are all packed to the rafters with bonus material.

HMV have this boxset available for £8.99 – for more information, click here.

Battlestar Galactica (1978): The Complete Series £11.45

Battlestar Galactica (1978): The Complete Series

The original 1978 version of Battlestar Galactica only last for one full season, but still has a cult following – as well as a more recent (and arguably better) re-imagining. One of the most recognisable faces in this was Dirk Benedict, who is probably better known as Templeton "Faceman" Peck from The A-Team.

Inside the seven disc Battlestar Galactica (1978): The Complete Series boxset you'll find all 24 episode, plus over three hours of bonus material. This includes some two hours of deleted scenes, an interview with the creator, and a "making of" documentary.

If you fancy this set, click here to buy it for £11.45 from Zavvi.

The Adventures of Indiana Jones: The Complete Trilogy £8.85

The Adventures of Indiana Jones: The Complete Trilogy

Indiana Jones might manage to juggle the pitfalls and danger associated with teaching against the probably much easier task of searching for treasure – however, even he would have to admit that Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was a little bit crap.

Anyway, The Adventures of Indiana Jones: The Complete Trilogy boxset contains the three fantastic original films, along with a bonus disc. On it you'll find five documentaries on the making of the movies, plus all of the teaser and theatrical trailers.

Click here to get this for £8.85 from The Hut.
