Even though Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is set after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, it’s apparently got nothing to do with the third Terminator film. It occurs in an "alternate timeline", which is usual nonsense speak for ignoring it completely.

The Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - The Complete First Season boxset, on Blu-Ray, contains all of the extra features missing from the standard DVD release. These don’t amount to all that much, but at least you’re not missing out on anything.

Cloverfield: Special Edition £9.89

Cloverfield is a monster movie for the YouTube generation, complete with shaky camera work and the use of camera phones. We follow five young New Yorkers attending a going-away party on the night the monster attacks, and see who manages to get out alive…

The Cloverfield: Special Edition DVD contains the film plus an audio commentary on the first disc, whilst the second has an extensive documentary and deleted scenes.

The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season £12.99

Everybody should have heard of animated comedy show The Simpsons by now, so there’s no real point in informing you about what it’s about. What I will say is that it definitely used to be a lot better than it is now.

Thankfully, The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season contains at least a handful of decent episodes. "Bart Gets An F", "Dancin’ Homer", the first "Treehouse Of Horror", and "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?" are just highlights from the 22 total installments. There’s also a few extra features, including audio commentaries and even the "Deep, Deep Trouble" music video.

Still Game: The Complete Series One To Five £17.80

Scottish comedies don’t often manage to break through to a nationwide audience, but Still Game has done just this. I think that it’s the first since Rab C Nesbitt (which reminds me, The Rab C Nesbitt Collection is still £8.99 at HMV) to do this, which is quite remarkable really.

Still Game: The Complete Series One To Five contains the first 33 episodes of this great sitcom. Sadly there’s no special features to speak of, and the Christmas Special from 2005 is missing (although will be released on a separate DVD in November).

Are You Being Served?: The Complete Series One To Five £17.89

Are You Being Served? was a BBC sitcom that ran for a total of 15 years, and was set in the men’s and women’s departments of a large fictional London store called Grace Brothers. It’s probably best remembered either for Mrs Slocombe’s pussy or "I’m Free!" (Mr Humphries’ rather annoying catchphrase).

The Are You Being Served?: The Complete Series One To Five boxset contains the first 34 episodes made, including the pilot and 1976 Christmas Special.

Trumptonshire: The Complete Collection £10.89

The love for the residents of Trumptonshire never lets up, even some 42 years since Camberwick Green first aired. Stop-motion animation has moved on quite a bit since then, but Trumptonshire: The Complete Collection is proof positive that people still have fond memories of Windy Miller and pals.

This three disc set contains all 13 episodes of Camerwick Green, all 13 episodes of Trumpton, and all 13 episodes of Chigley. Thankfully the picture has had a great restoration job done on it, so none have ever looked better than this.

Seinfeld: Seasons Five And Six - Gift Set £17.97

One of the greatest comedy series’ of all time has to be Seinfeld, it’s just a pity that it got treated so badly when it was screened over here. Although it’s a "show about nothing", the laughs always come thick and fast.

The Seinfeld: Seasons Five And Six - Gift Set contains all 46 episodes from the two years, but the best bit is the replica of the infamous "Puffy Shirt". It looks fantastic, even if it is a little bit small.
