The Munsters: The Complete First Season £5.49

The Munsters: The Complete First Season

While it's usually compared to The Addams Family (which was also running at the same time in the 1960's and had a similar look), The Munsters was actually the more popular of the two – the fact that they were supposed to be more of a blue-collar family probably helped this.

Inside The Munsters: The Complete First Season boxset you'll find the first 38 episodes. Also included is the unedited colour version of the pilot "My Fair Munster".

The Prisoner: The Complete Series (Blu-Ray) £33.67

The Prisoner: The Complete Series (Blu-Ray)

The Prisoner is a classic British show starring and co-created by Patrick McGoohan that combined spy fiction with elements of science fiction, allegory, and psychological drama. A U.S. remake was recently produced, which was unsurprisingly rubbish compared to this great original.

The Prisoner: The Complete Series is a six disc boxset which has all 17 episodes in the best picture and sound quality ever. Two of the discs are filled with extra features, many of which have been specially created for this release.

Father Ted: The Definitive Collection £17.88

Father Ted: The Definitive Collection

It's hard to believe that just over 10 years have passed since Father Ted was last on our screens, probably because they repeat the Christmas episode every year and it's always on More4! It's also still heart-breaking that Dermot Morgan, who played Ted Crilly, died the day after making the last episode.

Inside Father Ted: The Definitive Collection you get all 25 installments, plus some great special features. These include audio commentaries, a small bit from "Comic Relief", some short featurettes, and the BBC "Comedy Connections" documentary.

Amazon are selling this boxset available for £17.88 – click here for more details.

The Benny Hill Annuals: 1970-79 £24.99

The Benny Hill Annuals: 1970-79 boxset contains a total of 12 cheap DVDs

Benny Hill was quite possibly one of the funniest comedians of the 70s. Some might dispute this by using the easy cop-out of saying he was a bit of a pervert, but it's plain as day that he's influenced many of the top comedy acts of today (just look at Little Britain, for example).

The Benny Hill Annuals: 1970-79 boxset is a 12 disc collection which contains more than 30 of his classic shows. This retails for a considerably higher price at most other retailers – both online and off -, so is something of a bargain at this price.

Movie Mail have this set available for £24.99 – for more information, click here.

Tin Man (Blu-Ray) £6.48

Tin Man (Blu-Ray)

Tin Man is a mini-series which is a re-imagining and continuation of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, with science fiction and fantasy elements added. It focuses on the adventures of a small-town waitress who is pulled into a magical realm called the O.Z., which is threatened with eternal darkness by the evil Azkadellia…

This high definition release has much better picture and sound quality than the DVD version, as you'd expect, though it's a great shame that there isn't any sign of extra features – seems like a missed opportunity, if you ask me.

Click here to get Tin Man, on Blu-Ray, for £6.48 from Amazon.

The L Word: Complete Seasons One to Three
