Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street (Blu-Ray) £6.73

Although some were unhappy with trailers not telling the whole story (it was never really made clear that it was a musical), Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street is still well worth a watch – Johnny Depp turns out to be a surprisingly competent singer.

This high definition release looks and sounds absolutely fantastic, plus it comes with all of the extra features from the standard Special Edition DVD. These include an audio commentary with director Tim Burton, a documentary looking at the "real" Sweeney Todd and various featurettes looking at the making of the movie.

Doctor Who: Dalek War £19.99

While it’s true that the newer incarnations of Doctor Who have been more than up to the challenge, it’s also good every so often to take a look back at some classic episodes. Such is the case with this Doctor Who: Dalek War boxset…

Inside it you’ll find four discs which contain 12 episodes from the Jon Pertwee era. The complete "Frontier In Space" and "Planet Of The Daleks" stories are told out here – with the third installment of the latter appearing in colour for the very first time.

Mr Bean: The Complete TV Series Collection £8.99

Mr Bean: The Complete TV Series Collection

As hard as it seems to believe, there were only ever 14 episodes made of the original Mr Bean television show. Although there have been an additional 26 animated installments and two feature-length films, it’s from the very first incarnation that many people will have their best memories of the programme.

Mr Bean: The Complete TV Series Collection is a five disc set that does exactly what it says on the tin by containing every episode. Also included are six of the animated installments, a bonus sketch titled "The Library", a look at Mr Bean’s Holiday and a short clip from Comic Relief.

I Am Legend And Ocean’s Thirteen Double Pack (Blu-Ray) £14.25

I Am Legend And Ocean's Thirteen Double Pack (Blu-Ray)    I Am Legend And Ocean's Thirteen Double Pack (Blu-Ray)

When it comes to odd pairings, this I Am Legend and Ocean’s Thirteen double pack really takes the biscuit – the two have absolutely nothing in common at all (save for the fact that they were both bundled with a Blu-Ray player some time ago).

Both are more than watchable however, and look good in high definition – although Ocean’s Thirteen was filmed in such a way that it would never be fantastic picture-wise, sadly. Bonus material is plentiful too, with audio commentaries through to deleted scenes represented in some way on each disc.

Amazon are selling this I Am Legend and Ocean’s Thirteen double pack, on Blu-Ray, for £14.25 – click here for more details.

ER: The Complete Fourteenth Season £12.97

After running for what seemed like an eternity, but was really 15 years, U.S. medical drama ER finished earlier in 2009 – this probably only leaves our very own Casualty as the longest-running hospital-set programme currently showing on television anywhere in the world.

Anyway, inside the ER: The Complete Fourteenth Season boxset you’ll find all 19 episodes from the penultimate year. Sadly there appears to be little in the way of extra features (although I haven’t been able to confirm this, and very well could be wrong).
