Spaceballs is a parody of Star Wars that at times also lampoons Star Trek. George Lucas gave approval to the making of the film, and his company even did the special effects - so presumably he must have enjoyed it.

The Spaceballs: Special Edition DVD contains two discs full of bonus material. This includes two audio commentaries, a couple of documentaries, a tribute to John Candy and theatrical trailers.

Going Straight: The Complete Series £5.49

After the success of Porridge, many were wondering what would become of Norman Stanley Fletcher once he’d left prison - in Going Straight you get to find out. Sadly there’s only the one series, as Richard Beckinsale died before any more could be made.

Going Straight: The Complete Series contains all six episodes - this is the very first time that the show has been released in its entirety.

Phantasm Collection: Limited Edition £7.96

The Phantasm series of films feature one of the most terrifying villains of all time, The Tall Man. He’s a supernatural and sadistic undertaker who turns the dead into dwarf zombies to do his bidding and take over the world, like you do.

The Phantasm Collection: Limited Edition boxset contains the four movies made so far, along with a bonus disc full of bonus material. A fifth film is rumored to be coming out next year, which is nice.

Still Game: The Complete Series One To Five £17.97

Ah, Still Game - Scotland’s greatest export since whisky, Irn Bru and haggis (possibly). The adventures of Jack Harvis and Victor McDade have kept viewers nationwide laughing, even though I’m sure there’s some who don’t quite understand what they’re laughing at.

Still Game: The Complete Series One To Five is a six disc set which contains the first 33 episodes, minus the 2005 Christmas special (which is coming out in November on a separate release).

Duty Free: The Complete Series £6.99

Duty Free is a comedy show that aired on ITV between 1984 and 1986. It’s about two British couples who meet on holiday in Spain and the ensuing affair between David Pearce and Linda Cochran - the funny thing is that although set in Spain it was shot entirely in a studio in Leeds, bar the Christmas special (which WAS filmed in Spain).

Duty Free: The Complete Series contains all 22 episodes from each of the three series’, including the aforementioned Christmas special that wraps the whole thing up.

The Jack Ryan Collection £9.95

Yes it was featured just a couple of days ago for a cheaper price, but Asda have gone and raised The Jack Ryan Collection to £39.99! Scandalous!

This boxset contains three very good films (The Hunt For Red October, Patriot Games, and Clear And Present Danger) and one not so good, in the form of The Sum Of All Fears. The curse of Affleck strikes again…

House: The Complete Seasons One To Three £24.49

House is a US medical drama that stars Hugh Laurie in the lead role of Dr Gregory House. This may seem slightly odd to some viewers in the UK, as he’s much better known for his comedy work over here - Blackadder and Jeeves & Wooster spring to mind.

House M.D. has no bedside manner, is very anti-social, but thrives on the challenge of solving seemingly impossible cases. Very realistic then (!).

Murphy’s Law: Series One To Five £17.79

I find James Nesbitt very, very irritating - I’m not entirely sure why, but it’s probably got at least a little bit to do with those damn annoying Yellow Pages adverts he used to star in.

Anyway, he’s in police drama Murphy’s Law as an uncomprimising and tough-talking undercover police officer. The show has since been cancelled, so this boxset contains every episode ever made.
