2006 FIFA World Cup Interactive Quiz Game

The 2006 FIFA World Cup seems like ages ago, when in reality it has only been two years. The less said about England’s performance, the better - although at least they qualified (boo to you Scotland, boo to you).

This 2006 FIFA World Cup Interactive Quiz Game features over 1000 video and picture questions on the history of the tournament, and will allegedly test your knowledge to the max. Indeed.

Family Guy: Season Six £10.99

Family Guy: Season Six

For some reason the Family Guy DVDs in this country are a bit out of order - quite why this has happened is beyond me. Family Guy: Season Six therefore actually contains the first 13 episodes from season five. Which is bloody confusing.

The episodes begin at Stewie Loves Lois and end at Bill And Peter’s Bogus Journey, and you also get three animatic installments as well. Special features include audio commentaries and deleted scenes, amongst others.

If you fancy this set of cheap DVDs, click here to get it for £10.99 from Choices UK.

Lost: The Complete Fourth Season (Blu-Ray) £32.98

Lost: The Complete Fourth Season (Blu-Ray)

Lost started off as a big-budget show that everyone was talking about, and still is four years later - albeit you’re more likely to hear "when will it bloody well end?" or "I have no idea what’s going on" now.

The last season was actually the best since the first one, as we finally learned who gets off the island. There were also a few flash-forwards showing what’s happening to the survivors in the future.

Click here to buy Lost: The Complete Fourth Season, on Blu-Ray, for £32.98 from Amazon.

The Steve Martin Collection £14.99

The Steve Martin Collection

Steve Martin used to be a brilliantly funny actor, although you’d never believe it if you saw Bringing Down The House or Cheaper By The Dozen. The Steve Martin Collection celebrates his best work by including seven comedy classics - well, six and Sgt Bilko.

The seven are the aforementioned travesty that is Sgt Bilko, Bowfinger, Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid, Housesitter, The Jerk, The Lonely Guy, and Parenthood. It’s just a pity that they didn’t stick in Planes, Trains And Automobiles.

Zavvi are selling this boxset for £14.99 - for more information, click here.

Thunderbirds: The Complete Series £42.97

Thunderbirds: The Complete Series

It’s a little surprising (to me anyway) that Thunderbirds only lasted for two series’, and that only 32 episodes were made in total. Considering it’s still a bit popular even now is quite impressive.

Thunderbirds: The Complete Series is a nine disc boxset that has all of these installments, plus it also comes loaded with bonus material.

Columbo: Season One To Seven Boxset £34.99

Columbo: Season One To Seven Boxset

It’s quite odd that in the 35 year run of Columbo, we never did find out what his first name was. Perhaps that is just as well, when you consider it took about 20 years for Inspector Morse’s name to be unveiled - and the best they could come up with was Endeavour!

The Columbo: Season One To Seven boxset is a collection of the first 45 episodes about the scruffy looking cop who always gets his man. It’s a big ‘un as well, coming on a whopping 23 discs.

The Godfather Trilogy: Remastered £13.99

The Godfather Trilogy: Remastered

The Godfather films are all excellent, even if the third one is a bit iffy in places. The best of the three has to be the second one though - not only does it last what seems like an eternity, but it has possibly the best performance in the history of cinema from Al Pacino.

The Godfather Trilogy: Remastered is a boxset which contains bonus materials from the original trilogy release, plus some brand-new ones as well. The picture for the first two movies has also been carefully restored, and both have never looked better.

Star Trek: The Original Series - Season One (HD-DVD) £17.95

Star Trek: The Original Series - Season One (HD-DVD)

In 2006, remastered episodes of Star Trek: The Original Series began showing in the US. The following year, Star Trek: The Original Series - Season One appeared on HD-DVD. Now that the format is "dead", retailers have started reducing the price of the collection.

Interestingly, this also contains the DVD version on the other side. This means that if you have a standard DVD player, then you can play these discs as well.

base.com have this set available for £17.95 - click here for more details.

Casino Royale: Deluxe Edition (Blu-Ray) From £12.98

Casino Royale: Deluxe Edition (Blu-Ray)

The 21st James Bond film signalled the beginning of the Daniel Craig era as Bond. Casino Royale also turned out to be one of the best in the entire series - shocking to those who criticised the decision to give Craig the role.

Just in time for the next movie (Quantum Of Solace), the Casino Royale: Deluxe Edition (on Blu-Ray) is coming out. This contains hours and hours of bonus material. Seven hours, to be exact.

Click here to preorder this for £12.98 (as long as you spend £15 or more, otherwise it’s £14.43 delivered) from Amazon.

Police Triple Pack £6

This Police Triple Pack contains three cheap DVDs

This collection of films doesn’t actually have a title, so I’ve taken it upon myself to call it a Police Triple Pack. Note that it’s not the band (thank God), but the law enforcers instead.

The movies are Hot Fuzz (which is excellent), Miami Vice (which is alright), and Smokin’ Aces (which is surprisingly better than I though it would be).

Instore at Tesco you can get this set for £6. That’s the same price as the comic book triple pack we featured the other day, which is nice.
