A Fast Show Threesome £4.89

A Fast Show Threesome

The Fast Show was so incredibly popular that a few spin-offs were made, starring some of the programme’s best-loved characters. None of them were particularly successful, probably because it’s quite difficult to extend a small slot in a sketch show to a full series.

A Fast Show Threesome contains every episode of Grass (where Billy Bleach gets a new identity after witnessing a gangland murder), Swiss Toni, and Ted & Ralph. Each series also comes with its own set of special features, which range from audio commentaries to clips from Comic Relief.

Sendit.com have this set available for £4.89 – for more information, click here.

Kingdom Of Heaven: Definitive Edition £3.99

Kingdom Of Heaven: Definitive Edition

Ridley Scott is certainly somebody who likes to go back to his films and make a few changes to stuff he didn’t like – just look at the different versions of Alien, Blade Runner, Gladiator, and now Kingdom Of Heaven there are. I suppose the beauty of DVD is that directors can do things like this quite easily (before it was a bit of a hassle to get a studio to agree to alter movies once they’d had a cinema release).

The Kingdom Of Heaven: Definitive Edition set contains a version of the film that runs for around 45 minutes longer than the theatrical cut. Many hours of extras are included too, such as three audio commentaries, countless documentaries and featurettes, 15 deleted scenes and lots of other bits and bobs (four discs worth, to be exact!).

High School Musical: Three Movie & DVD Game Collector’s Set £16.93

High School Musical: Three Movie & DVD Game Collector's Set

The popularity of the High School Musical series doesn’t seem to have died down, even after many of the cast said that they wouldn’t return for another film. Chances are that there will be another movie made, but I have a feeling that it will be another Disney Channel exclusive.

Surprisingly, the High School Musical: Three Movie & DVD Game Collector’s Set contains exactly what you’d think – High School Musical, High School Musical 2, High School Musical 3: Senior Year and the High School Musical DVD game. Shocking!

The Day After Tomorrow: Special Edition £2.99

The Day After Tomorrow: Special Edition

Whilst the possibility of another Ice Age is remote at best, and it’s one of the most scientifically inaccurate films ever made, The Day After Tomorrow is certainly entertaining. The sight of some of the most famous landmarks of New York City completely disappearing is well worth seeing alone – although it has to be said much of the dialogue is rather on the "cheesy" side of the tracks.

The Day After Tomorrow: Special Edition release comes with two discs that are packed with bonus material. The first has two feature-length audio commentaries, and the second contains 10 deleted scenes, three documentaries, three featurettes, two interactive games, a photo gallery and some storyboards.

The A-Team: Season One £5.49

The A-Team: Season One

The A-Team is an American action series about a fictional group of ex-United States Army Special Forces who work as soldiers of fortune while being on the run from the military for a "crime they didn’t commit". Although they were thought of as mercenaries by other characters, they always acted on the side of the good guys and helped the oppressed.

Inside The A-Team: Season One boxset you’ll find the first 14 episodes of this classic show. Sadly there are no extra features to speak of, which feels like a very big missed opportunity – to hear from some of the actors, minus George Peppard (who is dead), would have been brilliant.

Seinfeld: Seasons One To Three £9.96

You'll find eight cheap DVDs inside the Seinfeld: Seasons One To Three boxset

Pitched by creators Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David as a "show about nothing", Seinfeld managed to capture huge audiences during its nine year run – and create a whole host of memorable moments, and characters, that will live on in history as some of the funniest ever seen on television.

The Seinfeld: Seasons One To Three boxset contains the first 40 episodes of the series, plus hours of bonus material. This includes audio commentaries with the cast and crew, documentaries, interviews, deleted scenes, bloopers, and an alternative version of the pilot.

Click here to buy this set for £9.96 from Amazon. Remember that they are also still selling the Seinfeld: Seasons Five And Six gift set for £8.96 (which is a top bargain in its own right).

Oldboy £4.99

Oldboy

Oldboy is a 2003 South Korean film (which means subtitles for those of us unable to speak the language) that follows the story of Oh Dae-Su, who has been locked in a hotel room for 15 years without any knowledge as to why. When he is finally released, Dae-Su goes on a quest for vengeance – discovering conspiracy and strangeness along the way.

This single disc release comes with three audio commentaries. One features director Park Chan-wook, for the second he’s joined by cinematographer Jeong Jeong-hoon, and for the last one three of the lead actors converse with the ever-busy Chan-wook.

Saw IV: Extreme Edition £2.93

Saw IV: Extreme Edition

Even though the events of Saw III might make it seem impossible, Saw IV continues the story of the Jigsaw killer and his obsession with teaching people the value of their own lives.

The Saw IV: Extreme Edition DVD contains a slightly longer version of the film, as well as a whole bucketload of bonus material. This includes two audio commentaries, a documentary, two featurettes, a deleted scene, and a music video.

The Simpsons: The Complete Sixth Season £9.99

The Simpsons: The Complete Sixth Season

If The Simpsons Movie had been made five or six years ago, it would have been much better – in my opinion anyway. It’s a pity that what we got instead was basically an extended episode with very few funny moments (Spider-Pig and something else I’m forgetting).

The Simpsons: The Complete Sixth Season is a four disc set that contains 25 episodes of the hit animated show, including the first part of the classic "Who Shot Mr Burns?". You also get some interesting bonus material like deleted scenes and audio commentaries.
