Round The Twist was a kids show shown on BBC One in the mid 90s. On paper it didn’t really have a lot going for it, but the odd mixture of weird stories and an Australian setting made for one of the most memorable programmes in the CBBC timeslot.
Round The Twist: The Complete First Series contains all 13 episodes from the first year, for the very first time ever (you couldn’t even get them on VHS, as far as I know).

In Round The Twist: The Complete Second Series, the Twist family return for another 13 episodes of pure anarchy. This set also has an extra feature, in the form of a sing along theme tune (and what a theme tune it is!).
This series is probably the one that sticks out most in my mind. The installments where Pete turns into a chicken every time he hears the word "now", and the one where a boy turns up who can’t remove his gloves are particular highlights.

If two series’ worth of mad adventures wasn’t enough for you, here’s another one. Yet again we are given 13 more episodes of the general mayhem that happens around the Twist family.
Round The Twist: The Complete Third Series is possibly the best DVD of the lot in terms of bonus material. Not only do you get a featurette on the cast, but there’s also a "Where Are They Now?" feature that’s well worth watching.

Round The Twist: The Complete Fourth Series contains the last 13 episodes made of the classic Aussie kids show. Yes, after four years we say goodbye to the Twist family. *sniff*
After the initial broadcast of the series in 1990, the BBC repeated it for many years after - it was that popular. I believe in more recent times that Channel Five (Five, or whatever they’re calling themselves today) showed some of it as well.
