Bewitched: The Complete Third Season

Bewitched was an American show about a typical housewife, who just happens to be a witch. Quite an ordinary setup for a sitcom then!

Bewitched: The Complete Third Season contains all 33 episodes for your viewing pleasure, which I’m sure will take you some time to get through.

If you fancy this set, click here to buy it for £9 from Tesco.

Bewitched: The Complete Fourth Season

If one season wasn’t enough for you, then how about picking up Bewitched: The Complete Fourth Season while you’re at it?

This has another 33 episodes to get through, each of which are sure to raise a laugh or two. Probably.

Tesco are also selling this boxset for a decent price, £6. Click here to see more details.

Bewitched: The Complete Fifth Season

Instead of having the normal (I think) 33 episodes, Bewitched: The Complete Fifth Season was cut down to 30 for some reason. I suppose there’s only so much you can write about a witch!

If you’d like this set, click here to get it for £12 from Tesco.

QI: The Complete First Series £6.99

QI: The Complete First Series

In a time where most people are interested in rubbish like Big Brother, it’s refreshing to see that a show like QI gets made and proves popular. Maybe there is hope for us after all!

QI: The Complete First Series contains all the episodes from the very first series of the great comedy quiz programme. There’s also some good bonus material, such as an unseen pilot episode and deleted scenes.

Hex From £5

Hex: The Complete First Season

Hex was a short-lived attempt by Sky One to try and cash-in on the popularity of Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Charmed and the like. It wasn’t too bad, as it goes, but obviously not good enough for the bods at Rupert Murdoch’s empire - it was canned after the second season.

Hex: The Complete First Season contains all the episodes from the first series, as well as some decent extra features. It’s quite cheap, so you may consider getting this as a filler between other shows.

Tesco have this set available for just £5 - for more information, click here.

Hex: The Complete Second Season

"Boo! Hiss!" to the TV executives who cancel programmes without giving them a fair crack of the whip - I mean Hex was actually quite popular, so not continuing it seems a little strange.

Hex: The Complete Second Season has the final 13 episodes, across five discs. This set is much the same as the first, in that it too comes loaded with bonus material.

Tesco are selling this set for the slightly higher price of £9 - click here for more details.

Seinfeld: Season Nine £6

Seinfeld: Season Nine

Not until a few years after it finished did I even bother to consider giving Seinfeld a chance - what a fool I was. Even though it’s a show about nothing, it’s easily one of the best comedy series’ of all time (in my opinion at least!).

Seinfeld: Season Nine contains the final 24 episodes ever made of the show. You also get hours of bonus material, which ranges from deleted scenes to extensive featurettes.

The Spider-Man Trilogy £5

The Spider-Man Trilogy

When Spider-Man was originally announced to be heading to the big screen, the world couldn’t wait (well, some of them could I suppose). Thankfully, they were rewarded with one of the best comic book adaptations of all-time.

The Spider-Man Trilogy boxset contains the excellent first film, the good second movie and the slightly disappointing third film. Well worth having if you’re a fan of the webbed wonder.

Little Britain: The Complete Collection £17.99

Little Britain: The Complete Collection

Little Britain was a bit of a Marmite comedy, in that you either loved or hated it. Although some of the jokes started to wear a little thin towards the end (which is probably why Walliams and Lucas quit while they were ahead), there’s lots of enjoyment to be had from the show.

Little Britain: The Complete Collection contains all three TV series’, as well as the live show (which I was lucky enough to see in person myself) and Little Britain Abroad. Basically, it’s everything Little Britain!

Click here to get this boxset for £17.99 from Base.com (why change from DVD.co.uk? I have no idea).

Carry On Collection £27.95

Carry On Collection

The Carry On films are often considered some of the best British comedies ever made. Whether they are or not is not for me to decide - but I will say that unless you have no sense of humour at all, you’ll find at least some of the movies very funny indeed.

The Carry On Collection contains 18 of the classic comedies, as well as all 13 episodes of the sitcom Carry On Laughing. You also get some documentaries and interviews thrown in for good measure.

Base.com (who used to be DVD.co.uk) are selling this set for £27.95 - click here for more details.

The Complete Bagpuss £2

The Complete Bagpuss

Bagpuss is still voted as one of the most popular children’s TV series’ whenever a new poll comes out. The Complete Bagpuss is the very first time that all 13 episodes have been released in one complete set.

I’m sure that kids now will enjoy the adventures of Professor Yaffle, Madeline the rag-doll, Gabriel the banjo-playing toad and the mice from the Marvellous Mechanical Mouse Organ just as much as some of us did when we were younger.

Instore at Asda you can get this DVD for just £2.

Curious George £2.99

Curious George

The Curious George stories have been around for donkey’s years, so an animated film was inevitable at some point. The result is a movie that both kids and adults will love.

George, who is an inquisitive little monkey with a taste for adventure, sets off on a brand new tale where he meets new friends and gets into all sorts of mis-adventures. The voice cast is quite impressive as well with Will Ferrell, Dick Van Dyke and Drew Barrymore all having roles.

If you fancy this film, click here to buy the DVD for only £2.99 from Play.com.
