The Smiths: The Complete Picture £4.99

The Smiths: The Complete Picture

The Smiths were an English rock band from Manchester, who became one of the most important bands to emerge from the British independent music scene of the 1980s. After breaking up in 1987, vocalist Morrissey has gone on to have a very successful solo career – and has also reportedly turned down big money to reform the group on many occasions.

The Smiths: The Complete Picture contains every single music video they ever produced, along with the short film "The Queen Is Dead" (which is basically a collection of three songs spliced together).

Every Which Way But Loose And Any Which Way You Can Double Pack £5

Every Which Way But Loose And Any Which Way You Can Double Pack

Clint Eastwood is definitely more familiar for his roles in spaghetti westerns and the Dirty Harry series, so it was quite shocking to see him appear in a couple of comedy films with an orangutan called Clyde. It’s obviously not done any harm to his career though, as he’s still knocking out some top quality work to this day.

The Every Which Way But Loose and Any Which Way You Can double pack contains these two movies, although there’s sadly no extra features – shame, as it would be nice to hear old Clint’s opinions on working with a monkey!

Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride is a stop-motion animation film loosely based on a 19th century Russian-Jewish folktale version of an older Jewish story, and is set in a Victorian-era village. Johnny Depp leads an all-star cast as the voice of Victor, whilst Helena Bonham Carter voices the title character, Emily.

With the DVD comes a range of different featurettes, each of which look at a different area in the process of making the movie – from the music, all the way up to the finished product.
