Have you seen both of the cinematic versions of Roald Dahl’s classic childrens book Charlie And The Chocolate Factory? Undecided which is best?

Gene Wilder was the star of Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory, whilst Johnny Depp took the lead role in Charlie And The Chocolate Factory - both are very good in their own rights (although I personally prefer the Wilder one).

Bill Bailey: The Classic Collection £9

Bill Bailey is one of the funniest comedians in the UK. If you’ve only ever seen him on Never Mind The Buzzcocks, you’re really missing out - his stand-up stuff is hilarious!

Bill Bailey: The Classic Collection contains his three live DVDs released so far - Bewilderness, Cosmic Jam and Part Troll.

The Lone Gunmen: The Complete Series £9.99

The Lone Gunmen were the sort of unsung heroes on The X-Files. Wherever a conspiracy existed, they were on the case before pretty much anyone else.

Sadly, their spin-off show only lasted a single season - it’s well worth watching if you enjoyed The X-Files though (and the pilot episode eerily looked at a terrorist attack on the Twin Towers, before 9/11).

Home On The Range £3.99

Disney used to be the kings of animation, with such classics as Snow White and The Jungle Book being the staple of every childs diet. Sadly they seem to have lost their way a little with some of their more recent 2D movies.

Home On The Range is by no means a memorable film, but kids should love the story about three cows who collect a ransom on a dangerous cattle rustler in order to save their farm from repossession.

The Golden Girls From £6.99

The Golden Girls is a US comedy show about a group of elderly housemates who set out to prove that life doesn’t end as soon as you get old. It won an Emmy in its first year on air as well, don’t ya know?!?

The Golden Girls: The Complete First Season contains all 25 episodes across four discs.

I’m not entirely sure whether this was ever a hit in the UK. I mean we watch any old crap, so it wouldn’t surprise me if it was popular!

Amazingly enough this second series also won an Emmy, and also kind-of launched the career of George Clooney.

Yes, it’s now over twenty years ago since this was on TV. Yes, most of the cast are dead (not surprising really). But it’s not lost any of the charm that made it a multiple Emmy award winner.

Richard Pryor Boxset £7.95

If you want to see a great comedian at work, I strongly suggest seeing some of Richard Pryor’s work. Although he’s not everyone’s cup of tea (at times his language is a little…bad), most should find at least some of his stuff mildly amusing.

This Richard Pryor Boxset contains copies of Brewster’s Millions, Car Wash, See No Evil Hear No Evil and Sit Crazy - each of which are fantastic in their own rights.

The Star Trek Movie Collection £17.99

Star Trek was a very popular science fiction TV series, so the jump to the big-screen was inevitable. Some have been good, others have been awful, but still the fans remain - I’ve never seen the attraction myself.

The Star Trek Movie Collection contains the first nine films made, which means there’s sadly no room for Nemesis. Still, you’re getting a set that works out at only around £2 per movie.

Only Fools & Horses is rightly considered one of the best British comedy series’ of all time. The antics of Del-Boy and Rodney, along with the other members of their family and assorted local characters, have kept people entertained for years.

The Only Fools & Horses: The Complete Collection boxset contains a whopping 27 discs, which hold every single episode from all seven series’ plus the 16 specials made.

Knight Rider: Season Three £9.99

David Hasselhoff has done two great things in his life - bringing down the Berlin Wall and starring in Knight Rider (Baywatch was memorable for entirely different reasons).

He stars as Michael Knight a former police detective who, along with his car K.I.T.T., works for billionaire Devon Miles. Together they bring down criminals and help people who need it the most.

Seinfeld is difficult to explain if you’ve never seen it before, simply because it’s quite literally a show about nothing. That said, it’s one of the funniest comedy series’ you’ll ever watch.
