Supernatural is a cult US drama series that deals with the paranormal, but is not really like The X-Files. For a start, there’s no F.B.I. members or giant conspiracies to contend with. Yet.
The show follows Sam and Dean Winchester travelling around the country, in a black 1967 Chevy Impala, investigating and combating paranormal events and unexplained occurrences. Many are based on urban legends and folklore, as well as the classic paranormal team of vampires, werewolfs and ghosts.

Shoved away in a late-night slot on ITV1, it wouldn’t surprise me if hardly anyone had heard of this show. It does have a prime-time slot on ITV2 – except it’s on a Sunday!
Supernatural: The Complete Second Season contains 22 more episodes for your viewing pleasure. I should warn you in advance that this year features an evil clown, which is downright terrifying.
